how do you download bodog on a mac ?
I hate this piece of a machine they call a mac. I have trouble downloading everything. I’m trying to download bodog poker. It seems everything with a exe type file which is almost everything we use goes into some download box with a zipper on it. then i can never open it. This would never have a pc. Can someone school me on what im doing wrong or what to do?
Hi, ok so u r new to Macs huh? No problem. Mac OS X is a different operating system to Windows. OS X is based on Unix, just like Linux. Any .exe programs u download r for Windows so u can not run them or install them on OS X. You need a .dmg file for OS X. If the program has a Mac version then u will download a .dmg file. Just drag this file in to ur applications folder and the program is installed. If u want to remove a program then u just drag the applications icon from the applications folder and take it to the trash bin and ur program is removed.
I am sorry if u r having a hard time, but there will be a slight learning curve. You need to download programs which r designed for OS X, and u r right, it is difficult to find programs for OS X. You can also install Windows onto ur Mac with boot camp so u have a dual boot configuration. Then u can choose to run Windows or OS X.
