Is there a way to make money using my poker expertise, without taking a trip to Atlantic City or Vegas?
thanks to pres. Bush and our conservative government leaders not wanting to loose out on any of the proffits from those who gamble online, by passing a law prohibiting online gambling. only slots are allowed where i live. no other gambling games. I’m interested in starting a coaching poker site. or are there any other options?
Well you can still play online, the new law does not outlaw you doing that.
Another option you might consider is looking for a local pub poker league. I’ve won $7,000 in the past couple of years by winning local tournaments which are completely legal, even here in Bible Belt. As long as they don’t charge you to play in the tournament they can give away whatever prizes they want.
I won two trips to Vegas, a trip to Atlantic City to a WSOP Circuit Event, and a trip to Indiana to a casino tournament. I’ve also won a brand new computer and cash. All completely legal, and lots of fun.
So take a look around, most places have a poker league not too far from them at this time.
