This year's nominations for the Brit Awards 2010 presented the best British talent and international music in the past year, January 18 announced IndigO2 in London.

Florence & The Machine is competing for British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act and British Album for their debut album lungs. London, Lily Allen is for British Female Solo Artist, British album It's Not You, It's Me, and British Single of the Year of Fear. Newcomer, was named Pixie Lott of British Single of the Year for "Mama Do not" British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
Nominated for British Breakthrough Act, British Group and British single for "beat again is X Factor boyband JLS. With two nominations each are Dizzee Rascal, Jay-Z, Paolo Nutini, The Empire of the Sun Roux and Animal Collective.
The Brit Awards 2010 is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a retrospective two performance categories BRITS Award memorable 30 years "and" British album of 30 years.
Robbie Williams to be honored with the coveted Award for Outstanding Contribution to music and the show ends 2010 with a live performance. Jay-Z, Cheryl Cole and Lily Allen are also set to perform at night.
The ceremony of Brit Awards will be held Feb. 16, hosted by Peter Kay, Earls Court Arena in London and will be televised live on ITV1.
