poker percentages how do u know wat the percentage pre flop ?
ok i just watched a heads up match where there both went all in pre flop when they turned their cards over they new wat the percentage was near as dam it ? how can you do this ?
There are only a handful of situations that happen when two players go all in before the flop, and most top players have memorized the approximate percentages in these situations. The percentages will vary some depending on the exact cards, but after you’ve seen enough hands you’ve got a pretty good idea how they change in different situations.
The types of situations you will see are:
Pocket pair vs pocket pair: 80%/20%
Pocket pair vs two overcards: 55%/45%
Dominated hand (i.e. AK vs AQ): 75%/25%
Severely dominated (i.e. AA vs AK): 92%/7%
Two overcards vs two lower cards (i.e. AK vs 9 10): 65%/35%
Overcard and rag vs two middle cards (i.e. A5 vs QJ): 55%/45%
