Can anyone point out a good poker forum for uk players to discuss live play in the uk?
I would appreciate it if anyone could point out good sites with details of online satellites for big uk events, or live satellites in england.

I think you should check out www.apat.co.uk
Its an Amateur Poker Association & Tour.
They have a national even for each country in GB about £75 buyin, very well run tournaments and high standard of play. In season 4 they should be doing regional events again hopefully and they have a fortnight online league.
Blondpoker.co.uk is also meant to be good.
