poker night invitation wording
French: please comment?
I am learning French as part of our duties, we had an invitation to write something. I wrote an article about a poker night and found the floor to play poker in French is "Poker". So says my dictionary. My teacher not know the word and sent my job to ask what that means! But it is French! Can anyone shed light on this issue? It seems strange to me! Thank you.
