I was researching something online yesterday and I was asked to register elsewhere. I have hundreds of passwords I doubt that even now only a handful last five years. I do not think I'm any gathering of more information than me, but now everything is automated self-service. I guess nobody loves me more.

I This trend is a problem especially in organizations. In many companies, which are in line to get your proof of payment, training requests, schedule turn, to 360 comments, and meeting rooms calendar. In some companies, the team is virtual, and his only contact with them via email. And in many institutions Higher education some courses are available online. I am sure that all these measures are inexpensive, but I wonder what effect they have on the ability and desire of people to work together and inspire others.

We know that when two people communicate in person, most of the information exchanged is not verbal. Some are facts and details, but the majority is achieved – the feelings that make people want to work together or not. In the face-off people develop a sense personal identity and mutual. And the least expensive time, we have, the harder it is to contact them and the organization.

Then you have to pay a price for the economy, and is not limited to business. Our whole society is moving face time. Last night I heard a story about the teenage son of my friend who plays poker with his friends Online. When they play, each in their own home. All are connected online, audio and video, the game they play together. My friend, whose childhood occurred in other time, provocative asked his son why friends do not stop at someone's house to play. The answer: "It's not how we do it Daddy."

It's hard to argue with the economics of automation and electronic access. And we can not really fight against cultural evolution. But we can be aware of community and personal loss due to these trends. And we can do something about them in our own lives. My favorite is the suggestion to make better use of meetings person we have. It's so easy to share data and information electronically Why not spend more face time to learn how we feel about of them?

The funny thing is that the discussion has feelings commercial benefits. This is because feelings often lead to important information about which companies would never have noticed otherwise. You can see this phenomenon in action now, if you're ready to play a game of minutes.

Imagine devote yourself, in its leadership role in business, talk about their feelings with their colleagues at every opportunity. How does this perspective make you feel? Seriously … give 30 seconds to correctly assess their feelings about this prospect.

Are you worried, anxious, fear, greed? Now, you have some idea why you feel this way? Give yourself another 30 seconds to be aware of their ideas.

What ideas? Have you noticed an ability not? One obstacle was external been waiting to leave? If so, have discovered another form of career growth. Not bad for sixty seconds, right? All you have to do now is to this way. (And remember not breathe!)
