I was watching Poker After Dark. There was a conflict to the table that has remained unanswered-Texas Holdem-If a player throws his hand in the mud after the river card is turned on, the only other person who takes the pot must show their hand this time? Also what does the term "Fresh" in poker?
No, not showing their hand. What you have is the best hand, because the other player does not have on hand. In addition, a refrigerator is a great hand that loses a big hand, or a large unexpected Outdraw.
