Texas Hold Em Poker Variance?
In Texas Hold Em, is there more variance in a heads up match or just a regular 9 player table?
Heads up definitely.
Every hand is stronger in heads up. If you have K5 it is a strong hand, wherein a 9 player table it is weak simply because you have 8 ppl who can have a pair, a K6 or higher, or any Ace.
As you play less ppl, every hand you start with progressively improves causing more variance.
