World Series of Poker Marketing?
So when you watch the World Series of Poker on ESPN, most of the guys at the table has a "Full Tilt Poker, or "Pokerstars.net" Patch, shirt, cap … something with the logo of companies. What people wore clothes paid an amount for the support of the company or what? It bugs the hell out of me that almost everyone you see is a sort of logo for an online poker site. I think my problem with him is that the people who have never won a bracelet, and his playing time at first, and is the first or second day and have the logo plastered on. It just seems ridiculous to some people. As cowboy hats.
Yes, you paid for it or, in the first event counters, probably paid for their seats, winning a series of satellites on site with the logo was a condition for obtaining price seat. Not much more ridiculous than NASCAR, where each car has a lot of logos on it and a driver device is no slouch. (If not least … at least the poker player usually has a unique logo.)
